GolfGear™ was created by Luanne Matt who acquired a love for golf later in life. While her husband Dean has played the game since he was 11, Luanne’s love for the game blossomed much later than your typical golfer. What was once only a passion of her husband’s would soon be Luanne’s next love; in only three years she’s been hooked on the sport! Luanne is golfing all the time, and when she isn’t golfing she is watching golf, and when she isn’t watching golf, she is always thinking about golf. It was her husband’s passion game and her new adopted love that were the beginnings of GolfGear™ and MyGolfCaddy™.

As Luanne was immersing herself in a new sport, she quickly picked up on the many nuances the sport of golf has to offer: all the stuff you haul around, going in and out of your golf bag and even forgetting your cell phone back at the clubhouse! She saw this best with her husband, Dean, and wanted to help him stay organized while he was out on the course. Dean would always say, “you have to be ‘golf ready’”, meaning, you have to have everything prepared for the perfect golf outing. With her husband’s voice ringing in her ear, Luanne came up with the perfect solution so that two of them would always be “golf ready”. Soon, MyGolfCaddy™ was born and both Luanne and Dean knew they had stumbled onto something that would be great!

In the past 3 years, Luanne and Dean spoke with many golf professionals and golfers across the country to get more input into her creation. A few versions and several significant modifications (including cell phone and ball storage) later, MyGolfCaddy™ GolfGear.golf™ was created.
